1/4 c. diced green pepper
1/2c. chopped celery
1/4 c. minced onion
1 T. flour
3 T. butter
1 3/4 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
3/4 lb. cleaned shrimp
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Tobasco, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute green pepper, celery, and onion in butter until tender. Add flour and blend. Add tomatoes gradually, stirring constantly. Add salt, pepper, sugar and bay leaf. Simmer gently for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add shrimp, worcestershire sauce and tobasco. Cook until shrimp are no longer pink.
Serve over rice.
