Red Velvet Cake Mix (Duncan Hines Brand)
Use dry mix
1 c. buttermilk instead of water
1/2 c oil or 1 stick butter
3 eggs

German Chocolate Cake Mix (Duncan Hines)
Use dry mix
1 c. buttermilk instead of water
3 eggs
1 t pure vanilla

Strawberry Cake Mix (Duncan Hines)
Use dry mix
No Water
1 c. fresh strawberries mashed
1 c. oil
4 eggs

Directions:

Mix each type of cake mix as directed on package using the substitutions as given for each kind of cake. Bake according to package directions.

When baking any cake that you plan to turn out on a plate/board, for a special event, always place a piece of parchment paper at the bottom of the pan FIRST. Then spray the sides of the pan and paper with non-stick cooking spray.
