1 cup butter
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 egg - 1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda - 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients-roll in small balls and place on baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork.

Bake 350 deg 8 to 10 minutes.


Cookies will be very white.
