2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 - 12oz pkg (or 2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract, beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread into greased 15 x 10 x 1 baking pan. Bake at 375º for 20 minutes. cool and cut into 2 inch squares.
