2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
2 cups sugar
3 egg yolks

Directions:
Directions:
Sift first four ingredients together and set aside.
Cream butter and extracts together until butter is soft.
Add sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy after each addition.
Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the dry ingredients in fourths to the creamed mixture, beating just until blended after each addition.
Form dough into balls (about 1" in diameter) and place about 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350º F. for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
