3 eggs 2 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Beat eggs until foamy, add salt and sugar and mix well. Add milk and vanilla. Line a 9" pie pan with pie crust. Pour custard in unbaked shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325° and bake for 25 minutes or until it does not stick to knife blade
