1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup bread crumbs (I use half panko and half regular)
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream (optional)
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
1 beef bouillon cube
1 cup hot water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 package of kluski noodles or wide egg noodles.

Directions:

Dissolve bouillon into hot water.
Combine beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt and 1/3 cup milk.
Mix well and form into balls.
Brown balls in butter remove from pan.
Deglaze pan by slowly adding dissolved bullion and stirring.
Stir in flour.
stir until smooth and blended.
Add 1 cup milk (and cream if using) and Worcestershire sauce to drippings; stir until smooth and blended.
Return meatballs to pan.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Cook kluski or egg noodles according to the instructions on package.
Serve the Swedish meatballs and sauce over the noodles.
