1 Pound, 14 oz. flour
2 1/4 c. cocoa
1 T. baking soda
1 1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 butter softened
1 # white sugar
1 # brown sugar
1 T. Vanilla
6 eggs
5 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Measure dry ingredients and place aside.
3. Cream butter, white and brown sugar well.
4. Add Vanilla and eggs.
5. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture
6. Fold in chips and spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Important! Smash cookie down, not flat but so that it is a smashed ball so it cooks evenly.

1. Cherry Chocolate. Exchange vanilla for almond extract. Add 3 1/2 c. chocolate chips and then ad 2 c. candied cherries topping the cookie with a candied cherry cut in half.
2. Can substitute butterscotch, white , milk chocolate, heath bar bits etc;
