2-1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons cold water
3/4 cup cold butter

Directions:

Sift flour and salt together. Add 1/2 of butter and cut into mixture until it is as fine as corn meal. Add the remaining butter and continue cutting until particles are the size of a navy bean. Sprinkle water 1 tablespoon at a time and work likely together with a fork until a dough is formed.
