36 caramels
5 tbsp. cream or evaporated milk
1 ¼ c. flour
1 ½ c. quick oatmeal
¾ c. brown sugar
½ tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ c. melted butter or oleo

Directions:
Directions:
Melt in microwave 36 caramels and 5 tbsp. cream or evaporated milk. Stir and set aside.

Press half of crumb mixture in bottom of 8 x 11 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10 min. Sprinkle on crust 1 c. chocolate chips and ½ c. chopped pecans or walnuts. Let melt a little. Spread caramel mixture carefully over this. Cover with remaining crumb mixture and bake 15-20 min or until golden brown.
