Easy Bran Muffins Recipe

1 15 or 20 oz box raisin bran flakes
3 c. sugar
2 tsp salt
5 c. flour
1c. chopped nuts
5 tsp baking soda
1 c. oil
1 qt. buttermilk
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 400.

Mix sugar, oil, buttermilk, eggs. Add bran flakes, flour, nuts, and remain dry ingredients. More raisins can be added, if desired.

Grease muffin tins, or fill with liners. Fill cups a little more than half full. Bake 15-20 minutes. Store remaining mix in refrigerator-- keeps up to 6 weeks.
