1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 stick butter

Directions:
In a bowl, mix peeled apples, lemon juice, sugar, flour & 1/4 tsp. salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, cut butter using pastry cutter or two knives into flour, brown sugar, oats & 1/4 tsp. salt until nice and crumbly.
On the bottom of a 9 by 13 glass pan, use half of crumbly mixture for base. Squish into the bottom of the pan until solid. Then add apple mixture on top of pressed crust. Last, use the rest of crumble mixture to sprinkle on top. (I like to sprinkle more oats on top of that).
Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes until golden on top. Drizzle as much caramel topping on top of apple crisp as you like :) Best when served with vanilla ice cream!! Enjoy!!

If you LOVE lemon like I do, and want to make this desert a Lemon Struesell, replace the apple mixture with Lemon mixture:
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
4 TBLS. lemon zest
1 C. lemon juice
Soooooo Yummy!!!
