Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 pounds beans Great Northern Jack Rabbit Beans
1/2 c molasses
2 onions
1 T salt
1 T pepper
1 T dry mustard
1 c packed brown sugar
1/2 c ketchup
2 to 4 pounds bacon cut up and browned

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse beans. Soak in salt and cold water, have water 6 inches above beans for 4 or 5 hours. Boil beans until shell begins to peel. Add all ingredients then bake covered for the first hour then bake with cover off. Add cooked bacon when beans are almost done. Cooking time varies by how high you set your oven. I usually start them at 350 then adjust as they are cooking for when we plan to eat. May have to add a little water while cooking if they look like they are getting to dry. You want them juicy.
