1 1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c shortening
1 egg yolk
1 egg
1 cup mashed banana
1 t vanilla
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
3/4 c milk
1/2 c nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cream sugar and shortening in large bowl. Add egg yolk and whole egg. Beat throughly. Add banana, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Add baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Stir until mixed. Add nuts if desired.
Pour into a cake pan and bake until center comes out clean. 20-30 minutes
