2 cups Martha Gooch Elbow Macaroni
6 slices bacon
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups milk
2 cups cubed cheese
3/4 cup bread crumbs or crushed potato chips

Directions:

Cook macaroni according to package directions. Fry bacon until crisp, cool and crumble. In small saucepan melt butter, blend flour, salt, and pepper. Add the milk, continue stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat. Add 1 1/2 cups cheese and stir till cheese is melted. Add the bacon and cooked macaroni, mix well, pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine breads crumbs and remaining cheese cubes, mix and sprinkle over casserole. Bake 350º oven 30 minutes.
