2 cups applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda

Dry ingredients:
4 cups flour
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 cup oil

2 cups raisins
2 cups walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
1) Combine applesauce and baking soda in small bowl and let sit.

2) Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, add eggs and oil. Add applesauce and soda into mixture, mix with beater until well blended.

3) Grease and flour 2 bread pans and pour each half full with cake mix.

4) Bake at 325º for 1 hour or until center tests done.
