"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 container (15 oz.) part skim ricotta cheese
2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 cup water
12 lasagna noodles, uncooked

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Mix all of ricotta cheese, 1 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley and egg until well blended. Set aside.

Brown hamburger in a pan large enough to hold 5 cups of sauce. Drain grease. Pour spaghetti sauce into meat. Measure 1 cup water and put the water in the spaghetti jar. Cover and shake well to clean the jar out thoroughly. Pour into pan and mix well. This will yield about 5 cups sauce.

Place 1 cup of meat sauce on bottom of 13" x 9" baking pan. Putting meat sauce down first allows the noodles to not stick to the pan. Layer 3 uncooked lasagna noodles and then1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat 2 more times. Top with 1 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

Cover tightly with greased aluminum foil. Bake 45 minutes or until noodles are cooked. Spraying the aluminum foil with cooking spray will prevent cheese from sticking when removing foil.

Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling. Let stand 15 minutes before cutting for easier serving.

Personal Notes:
This is a much simpler way to make lasagna because you do not have to cook the lasagna noodles before putting them in oven.
