1 & 1/2 lbs sirloin steak
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp ginger

Slice steak about 1/8 thick to make long thin slices. If meat is partially frozen it is much easier to do.in bowl with tight fitting cover,mix ingredients. Put meat into bowl. Press down to cover with marinade. Allow to mariner for at least 1/2 hour.

Thread meat on wooden skewers(soaked in water to prevent scorching) accordion fashion. I also thread pineapple,cherry tomatoes,mushrooms,green peppers and onion onto skewer.

If using as an appetizer,broil until rare. Cool a bit and refrigerate until ready to serve. Heat in covered casserole in 350 oven for about 20 minutes or until hot. Serve with toothpicks.
