3/4 cup sugar
2 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 tbsp salt
Dill, garlic or onion to taste

Directions:
Pack cukes in jars with dill. Pour in boiling water and let stand 15 minutes with covers and rings on. Cook brine. Drain off water. Pour on brine and seal.
