2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp cocoa powder
3 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Mix together sugar, butter, and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat and mix in cocoa, oatmeal, and vanilla.

Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Cool.

Bill loved to bake these cookies by himself after school. He would then give two each to Ali and Edwin and take the rest upstairs to his room.
