¾ Cups Creamy or Chunky Peanut Butter
½ Stick Butter Flavored Crisco (shortening)
1 ¼ Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons Milk
1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 Large Egg
1 ¾ Cups Flour
¾ Teaspoon Baking Soda
¾ teaspoon Salt

Preheat Oven to 375º Degrees
Grease baking sheet

Combine Peanut Butter, Shortening, Brown Sugar, Milk, and Vanilla in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed with and electric mixer until well blended.

Add egg and beat until blended. In a medium bowl combine Flour, Baking Soda and Salt. Add the dry mixture slowly to the wet mixture. Mix until blended. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto cookie sheet 2 Inches apart. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with the tines of a fork.

Bake for 7-8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.

Cool 2 Minutes on baking sheet.

Remove to cooling racks for complete cooling.
