4 pork chops
Vegetable oil
1 qt. jar sauerkraut
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
4 potatoes, peeled and halved
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Salt and pepper chops. In a skillet, lightly brown chops in oil.
Rinse sauerkraut in cold water; drain well.
In a large bowl, combine brown sugar and caraway seed; add sauerkraut and mix well.
Place potatoes in a buttered casserole. Arrange sauerkraut mixture over the potatoes. Place pork chops on top of the sauerkraut mixture. Dot with butter and add water.
Bake at 325º for 3 hours.
