2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 T. sugar
1 egg
1 small can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Add egg and milk, mix well. Pinch off golf-ball sized pieces and roll into circle. (Use saucer for size and trim around edges with knife.) Stack with wax paper between each.

Using favorite filling, place large spoonful on center of each crust. Fold over and pinch edges together. Fry in 1/2" to 3/4" shortening until browned on each side.

Crusts can be stored in plastic bag and placed in refrigerator until ready to use. Keeps well for several days.
