1 Kg. Mutton
1 Kg. Basmati rice
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup ghee

Garam masala:
8 cardamom
8 cinnamon
8 clove
4 bay leaves
8 tomato sliced
8 onions sliced

For paste:
25 green chilly
50 gm ginger-garlic
2 bunch coriander leaves
2 lime (for juice)

Seasoning:
1 cup cashewnut
1 cup rasin
Coriander leaves & color

Wash and soak the rice in water for 20 min.
Boil the water with whole garam masala and salt. Add rice till three-fourth done, drain and keep aside. Take half the rice and add color.
Marinate the mutton with grinded paste with lime juice, 1/2 tsp chilly powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp masala powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt and leave it for 30 min.
Heat oil/ghee in pan and fry the onions till brown, add the marinated mutton along with tomato and cook for 45 minutes on medium heat.
Place alternate layers of rice and mutton curry. Garnish with fried cashewnut, rasin and coriander leaves.
