2 c brown basmati rice
4 c water
1/2 c celery, thinly sliced
1/4 c parsley, minced
1/4 c green onion, thinly minced
1/4 c currants
1/4 c pecan pieces
Sauce:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp tamari
1 tsp spike seasoning
1/2 tsp white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rice with water and bring to a boil. cover and simmer for 50 minutes. Allow to cool. Whisk all sauce ingredients together and add to rice and remaining ingredients. Toss together lightly. Enjoy this as a cold salad or warmed as a delicious side dish.
