6 med. potatoes
2/3 c. milk
1/2 t. tabasco
1 1/2 t. salt
1 can chopped green chilies
1 T. butter (I put a BUNCH more!)
1/4 c. shredded longhorn cheese
1/4 c. Monterey jack cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Slice the potatoes like french fries or in chunks leaving the skin on. Place in a greased shallow pan. combine milk, tabasco, salt & chilies. Pour over potatoes and dot with butter. Cover & bake at 425º. After 40 min. top with cheese and bake uncovered until cheese is melted.

This is one of my favorite potatoes recipes and we probably serve it everytime we are having a big crowd. Often we quadruple the recipe, put it in an electric roster and it will serve about 40 people. You have to lengthen the cooking time.
