2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup of milk or cereal cream
1 clove minced garlic
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Directions:
On medium-high heat melt the butter in a small saucepan. Stir in the flour and cook until the flour feels gritty (about 3 minutes). Whisk in the milk and stir until it thickens. Add the garlic, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
