Directions:
Put the ham bone in a large cooking pot with the water. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add the chicken to the pot. Simmer, uncovered, until the chicken is cooked through and tender – approximately 1 ˝ hours. In frying pan, brown ground beef and onion. Finely shred the chicken meat and return to the broth. Add ground beef and Sonny’s pulled pork to chicken and broth.
Add butterbeans or baby lima beans, corn, potatoes, canned tomatoes, barbecue sauce, catsup, salt and red pepper flakes, if using. Add more water if needed to make a thick soupy stew.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was often a staple on Grandma's table for Sunday dinner.Along with everything else, she would have cornbread and Angel yeast biscuits, so light they would melt in your mouth. It's cloudy outside today. I feel very sad thinking about all the good meals Mrs Braddy prepared for everyone. I miss them very much.
