1 cup sugar
2/3 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter then gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg yolks one at a time, beat well after each. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour and salt then add to the butter cream mixture, and mix well. Chill ( put in bowl cover with wrap and place in refrigerator)
Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place two inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Press thumb on each ball leaving an indentation. Bake at 300 degrees, watch to determine how long they will need to stay in your oven. Every oven is different.
