Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 cups sifter confectioner sugar
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons whipping cream
oils of peppermint (Party Cake Shop, Michael's carry the different oils)

Directions:
Directions:
Mixes best if the butter is soft.
Gradually add the sugar to the butter.(Aunt Etta did this with her hands) Add a little whipping cream when the mixture gets too dry. Add peppermint, or separate into two balls with different oil. Add a few drops of coloring, or if you are using the cake coloring paste, use a toothpick to add the coloring. A little goes a long way.
It should be like pie dough. Take a small piece in your hands and roll it into a ball then put into mold. You can get molds in Cincinnati at The Party Cake Shop on Galbraith Rd. and at Michael's. You can go one line and find the rubber molds which work real well, better than the plastic ones. The little round rose shape works well no matter what the season.

Personal Notes:
The first time you make this candy you may find it difficult to get the right mix..Always keep extra powdered sugar around. The peppermint oils are very strong so just add a few at a time, taste, then add more if needed. You can always add more but you can't take any away after you have added it.
