1 cup flour
1/2 salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
1 tsp. food coloring

Non-cooked
3 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water, more if necessary
a few drops of food coloring

Directions:

Add ingredients and cook over a medium heat stirring constantly until it forms a ball. Remove from heat and knead.

Non-cooked
Mix ingredients together, knead until all the ingredients are mixed.

Kids really enjoy making different colors. Needs to be kept in a dry container. Because it is so easy to make, if colors get mixed together you can just throw it away and make more the next time you want to play with Playdough.
