A whole chicken
Clove of Garlic
Onion
Carrots
Celery
Salt & Pepper
Oregano
Parsley
Basil
Olive oil
Romano Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Fill stock pot with water
Clean and add chicken to pot
Add your vegetables (peel garlic first)
Salt and pepper
Bring to boil and let boil until chicken starts to fall off the bone, about 30 minutes
Remove Chicken and run broth through a colander to remove any bones. RESERVE BROTH
Add back to empty pot
Add spices, onions, carrots and celery and let boil for a bit wile you pick all the chicken from the bones.
Add Chicken back to pot
Bring to a boil one more time.
Add some olive oil for flavor
Cover and let simmer on low flame at least an hr
Cook some small pasta, rice, or tortellini.
Add starch to bowl and cover with the soup.
Grate some Romano on top and enjoy!

Personal Notes:
You can also use Chicken breast on the bone, or the leftover Turkey and carcass from Thanksgiving. It will come out the best with the entire chicken, then the carcass, then the boned chicken breast.

NOTE- You can also cheat and use boneless chicken breast and buy some Swanson Chicken Stock to use, then follow recipe above from add broth back into pot.
