Noodle Kugel Recipe

1 lb broad egg noodles
1 cup butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
6 eggs separated
16 oz creamed cottage cheese
2 cups sour cream
1 tsp

Topping:

1 1/2 cups crushed sugar coated corn flakes
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
1/2-1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cook noodles according to the directions on the package. Rinse in hot water and then cold water. Drain and set aside. Cream butter and cream cheese in mixing bowl. Gradually add sugar. Add yolks, and beat until light. Add the cottage cheese and sour cream and beat until well mixed. Add vanilla.
In separate mixing bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold beaten egg whites into butter mixture, and then add noodles. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Remove pan from oven and add topping before continuing to bake for 30 minutes more.

Topping:

Sprinkle corn flakes over top of noodles. Drip melted butter over top of the flakes over the top of the flakes. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the top.
