In a large bowl mix the following, and let stand for five minutes:

3 cups of All-Bran cereal
3 cups (1 quart) no-fat buttermilk

Add the following and mix to the buttermilk and all-bran:

3/4 cups of vegetable shortening
2 cups of raisins

Add:

3 cups of flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar

Stir mixture and fill sprayed muffin tins. Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Muffins are done
when a knife is placed in the middle of the muffin and comes out clean.

Adapted from the famous Kellogg's recipe, this recipe is fat-free. The muffins can be stored in sandwich bags, frozen and micro-waved for 1 minute to eat plain or with margarine or jelly.

The recipe makes about 30 large muffins. Its a very healthy recipe and makes a healthy breakfast.
