1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar


DO NOT MAKE ON A HUMID OR RAINY DAY
You need a candy thermometer

Directions:
cook to 232 degrees stiing only until ingredients begin to melt. When it reaches 232 remove from fire and add 1 tablespoon of butter and pecans(3/4 cup). Cook to 238 degrees. Allow to cool about 2 minutes then stir lightly until pecans are well coated and mixture is about as thick as heavy maple syrup.
Spoon quickly onto aluminum foil. If mixture spreads too much, it needs a bit more stirring. When completely cool, then wrap in waxed paper and store in a air tight container.
