2 sticks of butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 vanilla
3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp. fresh nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Cream butter, add both sugars, and eggs. Add flour, baking soda, spices, vanilla. Slowly add rolled oats.
Allow to whip for a few minutes. Spoon small amounts of dough onto baking sheet, cook for about 6-8 minutes. Take out a little early. After they have cooled keep in a tin can.
I usually cook at 375-385 degrees, so you need to watch the cookies to make sure you don't over cook them.
