1/4 cup marsala wine
1 Tbsp of butter
Sliced button mushrooms- they shrink when they cook

Directions:

Good on chicken or steak.
After chicken or steak have been seared or saute'd.
Saute mushrooms in butter. Remove mushrooms for a minute. In pan, Add wine- scrape brown parts off the bottom. (This is where all the flavor is). It is called deglazing the pan. Cook for a few minutes until liquid reduces. Add butter and mushrooms into sauce. Spoon over chicken or steaks.
