1/2 cup of flour
3 3/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of butter
1 tsp salt
6 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 unbaked pastry shells

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, salt. Melt butter and add with eggs to the mixture, beating slightly after each addition. Add buttermilk and continue to beat until combined. Add vanilla and blend. Pour into pie shells and bake in 350º oven for 35-45 minutes or until the pie is firm from the center. (May take as long as an hour.)
