3/4 cup (3/4 stick) Butter Flavor Crisco Shortening
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
1egg
1/3 cup milk
1 1/2 tsps. vanilla
3 cups quick oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

Heat oven to 375º.
Combine Butter Flavor Crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at med speed until well blended.
Combine oats, flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mixture at low spped until blended. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough about 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes, then remove cookies from cookie sheet.
