½ c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
½ c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ¾ c. sifted flour
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugars; beat in eggs. Sift together dry ingredients & add alternately with evap. milk to which vanilla has been added. Chill 1 hour. Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2' apart on greased sheet.
Bake @ 375° 10-12 minutes, until delicately brown. Frost while warm using a thin icing of confectioner's sugar & milt. Frost half white & half chocolate.
