1/4 lb. sweet butter, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. sifted flour, 1/2 c. toasted pine nuts.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg yolk, vanilla and flour. Mix in the nuts. Drop the batter a teaspoon or so at a time onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until pale golden. While still hot, remove to a rack and cool.
