1 c. flour, 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 tbsp. lemon juice.
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Measure flour after sifting. Blend flour, butter and confectioners sugar thoroughly. Press evenly into a square pan 8 x 8 x 2. Bake 20 min. Beat the rest of ingredients together and pour over crust and bake for 20-25 min more. Do not over bake. The filling puffs during baking but flattens when cooled.
