Ingredients:
1/2 c. confectioner's sugar, 1 c. butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 c. sifted bread flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. baking powder.

Directions:
Beat butter until soft and add sugar gradually. Cream these ingredients until blended. Add vanilla. Then, stir in flour, salt and baking powder (or use your hands). I like to stir the flour, salt and baking powder together first before adding to batter. Refrigerate dough for one hour. Roll dough 1/3 in. thick and cut into desired shapes. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375º for 20 minutes.
