1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 pkg Hershey chocolate kisses
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking soda & salt together. Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in dry ingredients gradually, mix thoroughly. Shape dough into balls and roll in sugar (using a cup). Place cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375º F oven for 8 minutes. Remove cookies from oven and place Hershey Kisses on the top of each cookie, pressing down so that the cookie cracks around the edge. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
