1 head shredded Blue cabbage
1 apple shredded
1/2 c. diced onion
1/8 c. vinegar
3 T. brown sugar
sprinkle of cloves
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer cabbage, apple, onion and sprinkle of cloves for 2 hours.
Add vinegar, brown sugar, salt & pepper to taste.

This is a very old recipe. Not my personal favorite, but I remember my Mom loving to make this and stinking up the house with it .
