1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. slightly cooked peanuts
1/2 stick margarine
1 rounded tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and water together in teflon or heavy saucepan. Cook over hot stove until mixture spins a thread when poured from a spoon. Add peanuts and stir like crazy until mixture begins to turn brown. Add margarine. As soon as it melts, remove from heat and add soda. Stir quickly and pour out on greased foil or cookie sheet. As the candy begins to cool stretch out with hands. This makes it more brittle. When cool break apart.
