1 egg
1 cup Jif peanut butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 to 1/2 bag chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Beat butter until soft, add regular and brown sugar gradually and blend until creamy. Beat in egg, peanut butter, salt, baking soda and vanilla. Stir in flour, then add chocolate chips.

Roll the dough into small balls. Place on greased or parchment-papered cookie sheet. Press flat with fork, then again at a 90º angle to form a checkered x. Bake for about 10 to 12 minutes.
