8 oz cream cheese
11/2 c. flour
1 stick butter

3 tbsp butter
1 med onion
8 oz mushroom diced
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dry thyme leaves
1 tbsp sherry or vermouth
3 TBSP sour cream
egg and water for glaze

Directions:
Directions:
knead cream cheese, flour and butter until blended. Separate dough into two dishes and wrap in plastic and refrigerate until firm enough to handle (30 minutes). For filling, melt butter, add onion and mushroom and cook until onion is tender and liquid is evaporated (20 minutes) stirring frequently. Stir in garlic, flour, salt, pepper, thyme, then sherry. These can be made ahead and frozen.Cook one minute longer. Put in bowl and cool. Stir in sour cream. Roll out 1/2 dough on floured surface to 1/8" thick. Cut in 3" rounds. Fill in 1 tsp filling and fold over. Cook at 450 for 12-14 minutes.
