Tart shells:
1 cup oleo
2 cups flour
3oz. cream cheese
Filling:
3 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 pound almond paste
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
Frosting:
1/3 c. shortening
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/3 c. oleo
1 tsp. almond flavoring
3 c. powdered sugar
Add up to 4 tsp milk till spreading consistency.

Shells: Whip oleo and cream cheese, then add flour. Chill dough several hours. Divide into 4 even parts - from each part make 1 dozen walnut size balls. Press each ball into 1 opening of small tart pan lining bottom and sides.
Filling: Beat eggs well. Add sugar, salt and flavoring and crumbled almond paste. Fill each tart and bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 mins. Makes 4 dozen tarts.
Frosting: Beat till light and fluffy. Spread on cooled tart shells and sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles.
