1 head of cabbage finely shredded
1 lb. bean sprouts cut into pieces
cups ham cut into pieces
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2-3 tbsp. soy sauce
2-3 tsp. freshly grated ginger
1-2 pkgs. egg roll wrappers

Directions:
Directions:
Cook cabbage and bean sprouts in peanut oil. Add ham and continue to cook until cabbage is done, but bean sprouts are still crisp. Mix up cornstarch with soy sauce and ginger; pour over mixture and mix well. Cool in refrigerator at least an hour. Place mixture in center of egg roll wrappers and roll by folding in the sides as you go. When all wrappers are used deep fry in oil until golden brown and crisp.

This recipe was given to Barbara by one of her husbands friends stationed at Mather Air Force Base (Mary). It has been one of her families favorite along with fried rice.
